I am looking for a fishing guide to take myself and grandson on his first time fishing trip. Maybe catfish and bream. Who would you recommend for Conroe or Livingston?

Already listed above...Loy Deason on Livingston. Great guy to be in a boat with and catches more catfish than anybody on that lake. Great with kids or old people. I’ve fished with a lot of guides on lots of different water and Loy is my all time favorite.
When I built a house on Livingston, I was having trouble finding big cats in the winter months. I called and hired Loy to take me out with the understanding that I was paying for information. He spent hours with me teaching me areas I didn’t know, giving me waypoints, selling me on the concept of drift fishing for
Big cats. Later I hired him to take clients, relatives and others to catch WB and catfish. He’s a solid man and a helluva fisherman.
