Son's First Season

After hunting with me for three seasons, my 7 year old son let me know that he was ready to hunt this this year. We spent some time on the range getting him comfortable on the gun. I put together our plan and were fortunate and had a very productive weekend. He tagged his first deer and dropped his first pig in its tracks. The pig went down with an ear shot @ 85 yds and the deer dropped in its tracks @ 38 yds...mush closer that we had planned, but he pulled it off. No idea what the pig weighed, but it was a bruiser. Needless to say, he is hooked.

He didn't want to euro the hog. All he cared about were the tusks for a necklace, so I cut them off the snout and will boil them out.
