    Atv trailer

Has anyone used one of these atv trailers. Yutrax or the cabalas Xt1500. I want one to haul corn around the lease to fill feeders. Just looking for some reviews from yall.

yep, got mine at Northern Tool. It will hold 12 bags of feed at one time. I had the main bar welded shut eliminating the dump bed. This made it stronger and less noisy.

Is it capable of hauling more or is that all you can fit on it?

I haven’t tried one of those type, but you can’t beat the metal John Deere cart. I think mine is rated for 1400 lbs or more. It goes through a lot of mud and creeks no problem even when loaded full. Really handy to have when it’s too muddy to use the tractor to haul stuff.

I made the mistake of buying a Tractor Supply lawn mower trailer......yeah don't do that.

I have the Cabelas xt1000 model and it works great. It is much safer to drag a load of corn in the trailer than to load it on your atv. It does not have any suspension so going over bumps at speed can upset the trailer. I added a bunch of mods to mine, a regular ball hitch, for example, helps it rotate on uneven terrain. If I had it to do over again, I would buy the 1500 simply because the 1000 uses a very hard to find tire/wheel combo and the 1500 gives you a bit more ground clearance.

Thats about as many bags as you can make it haul. It will hold 3 bags side by side, 4 deep. I have carried 15 bags on it, but its hard to keep them from falling off at that point. I also had a solid sheet metal welded into the bottom because the feed was getting wet. It works exceptionally well. You will not go wrong.

This is just like mine, except mine is black and red. I had a regular hitch welded on the front, welded the main support so that it no longer dumps and had a sheet of 14 guage steel cut for the bottom, then sprayed with bed liner. I put slime in the tires, she works like a champ.
