    Kifaru Urban Ruck

Anyone here using this bag? If so what are your thoughts on it? I'm really thinking about ordering this for work. Need something functional and tough. I'm thinking this with the organizer pocket on the front, and the chamber slider for the laptop.

What are your work needs? Do you haul any equipment? If you need a frame I’d go with a 14er, I love mine. And I’ve owned three of their big hunting bags and two of their frames. Not lightweight and not always the best for some uses, but built like a tank, everything made right there in Denver and best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. If you are willing to drop the coin, I’d say you can’t go wrong.

One of the best companies to do business with. I’m happy to give them my money. I hope you find the pack that fits your needs.
As a side note, their Lost Park coat/jacket is one of the best, if not the best, pieces of outdoor clothing I’ve ever owned. I have Arcteryx and other high end pieces, nothing comes close to the Lost Park. If I could own only one coat for both daily and hunting wear, it would be the Lost Park.

The urban ruck is a 1500 cubic inch edc bag. I have an eastern ruck that is a 3200 cubic inch internal frame for hunting.

As far as my work needs they are a laptop, notepads, pens, laser measure, DSLR camera, carry gun, and a few other small items. Definitely not in a 14er or any frame needs. I'm only looking at small lighter bags.

Perfect, that is what I was hoping to hear! I had it all in my cart yesterday and almost pulled the trigger, but started thinking too much.

I have a tombstone I can use too if I wanted to try it. I bought it for the waist belt of my eastern ruck for the holster and mag carrier.

Looks like a good pack. Not sure what you need for organizational purposes, but I use a GoRuck GR1

The antero has been pretty high on my list also. the top pocket on the Urban Ruck has a little better organization for my use, and I like that I can get into the laptop without going in the main compartment. However I like, that the antero has a zippered main compartment. My ultimate would be an Urban Zippy with a spot for a chamber slider like the Urban Ruck has behind the main compartment, and being able to put the organizer pocket on the front. Also to lose the compression straps, If only I could custom order it...

I had actually considered the lost park parka last year. I wanted it primarily for hunting, and I emailed Aron about it. Quiet is a big priority for me on hunting clothing, and Aron said that it was not quiet, they removed it for stalking. Of course for Texas stand hunting that was a no go.
