We had a good weekend at the lease. It was a hot sucker for sure.

I was able to put a doe on the ground and luckily it was a short track and she died on the road. Lol
Used a Slick Trick Raptortrick on her. Stepped over a rattle snake between the feeder and her. Scared the crap out of me!!!

well, i did guys and gals. first time in 5 years. i missed. had 7 bucks at the feeder. 2 of the best deer i've seen in years. had a perfect broadside at 20 yards. main frame 10 with completely forked G2s and at least 3 kickers. shot just under him.

It’s part of the game. Get back in the saddle and make up for it! Most the time when you read about a clean miss, there will be more than one opportunity. Hopefully that is the case!

Just an FYI for you rice bran junkies. Palmers in angelo told me today they would no longer have bagged rice bran at all.

Guess it’s pay ripoff grogans $11 a bag. Lol

Like, forever? Or, just this year?

I haven't ever killed anything over rice bran, but when I put it out in a pen I always get new mature bucks hitting it at night.
