This deer made a pretty cool jump this year going from a, what was almost management 8, to showing a little potential! Last year a guest of a lease member shoulder shot this deer with no luck on finding him. Ended up getting pictures a few days later of him back at the feeder. He’ll never, be a giant, but it’s a pretty cool story after the wound, he turned around and put on 30-35 inches.

If he has one more growing year like he did this one, he could a good deer next year. I’m thinking 4 this summer, but could easily be 5. Either way, he earned himself another year.
