Bringing deer back into state

This has probably come up before but if you go on an out of state hunt and killed a deer or two in a state that does not have deer tags like Alabama and Mississippi when you bring the meat back into Texas and bring it to a processor all that is required is a Wildlife Resource Document? Is that right?

Interesting. Didn’t even think of CWD. I think the part of Mississippi I’ll be hunting is ok though.

Just bring the tag from the state you are hunting in.. it is illegal to bring heads with brain matter or spinal cord/fluid across state lines regardless of it is in the state or not.

Well that’s just it, Mississippi doesn’t have deer tags.
