    A Skeeter in Jan?

I know for most of you that’s not breaking news, but for the southern panhandle that’s remarkable. Finishing up a duck hunt yesterday I had a huge mosquito land on me while peeling of my waders.

We have cold here, multiple nights in a row of sub freezing temps and even some 24 hour periods below freezing. But we haven’t had the single digits or 48 hour+ Sub freezing temps.

    Darn global warming!

I've been fighting skeeters off me for the last 30 minutes. I'm hunting the edge of some flooded timber in the Piney woods of Hardin County right now. I didn't think I would need a thermacell, but I was wrong.

Killed two mosquitoes in Clear Lake this week. Weather was in the 50’s on the first kill. Second one......already in the high 60’s. Neither were Pope & Young.

Killed a Boone/Crockett skeeter today. Anyone know where I can get it mounted?

Popped a couple yesterday on me while fishing in Rosenberg,Tx. I am now sure they are adapting to colder weather. We are screwed. Invest in whoever makes OFF.
