    got some bow questions.

first of all im glad i found htis forum. just got a new mathews switchback xt and it is a whole new world to me. never had carbon arrows. the bow is a 29inch draw, says 70lb draw. shoot a whisker bisquit, . the arrows are carbon express terminator select 4560. i have muzzy 100 3 blades, the bow doesnt have a peep yet. ive always used th ones with the tubing but would like to try the no tubing type. do these work good? pros or cons? also is the arrows the right weight or shaft size. like i said dont know naything about carbons so nay help would be appreciated. oh yeah , i was hitting my 3d target at 55 yards with it this afternoon. that is fricking awesome. my old golden eagle couldnt quite get that done. anyway thanks for your help

First off, welcome to the site!!

As far as the peep goes, I like the peep with out the tubing, that dang tubing can dry rott and break at the worst times!!

Welcome. You are underspined with the 4560s. I would recommend you step up to the Maxima 350.

Don't do the tubing thing. Not reliable and takes away more speed than you would expect. I use a peep similar to the G5. Just shoot your Mathews a couple hundred times to let the string settle before tying it in.

                Welcome BD!!
                Try a tubeless peep.
And those arrows are not the right spine. Might try some Easton ST Axis 340's.
Are you shooting 29" or 28" arrows? I'm shooting a 28" draw 70 lb XT and shoot the 340's now but I'm going to shoot 400 Axis next. Being that I shoot a little shorter arrow I can probably shoot a little less spine.
Both Carbon Express and Easton have shaft selector guides that are easy to use. Most manufacturers do.
