out of curiosity, from the time you left to go to the Amarillo airport till you got to El Paso and then to the ranch. how much time did you save by flying?
btw, good luck, we sure enjoy y'all's hunts

Our flight out of Amarillo left at 330 pm and we landed in El Paso at 530 pm. Ate a steak and got to the ranch by 9 pm. I didn’t look at drive time but I think it’s around 8 hours.

Thanks! That’s the longest rifle shot on an animal in my life!!!!! I love my 6.5 prc. Can’t thank the guys at Alamo precision enough.

I have learned the painful lesson of passing good opportunities on day one! They had seen this buck before and he was the biggest on the ranch this season.

Going to ride around tomorrow. I think we may try to call some coyotes for junior or turn him loose on a javelina. He shoots plenty!

That’s the longest shot on the ranch. The owner asked if I could make that shot. I said “I can try.” He wasn’t impressed with the answer but had a rock solid rest and knew the gun would shoot. I don’t know if I could have walked up and placed the bullet better. I’m an archery guy and almost 500 yards is a long way for me! Was really fun to make a good rifle shot. I can’t help it, I love hunting!
