Never heard of it, sounds like a waste of time. Isn't Oak Island supposedly where some pirate buried some treasure or lots of treasure? If that really happened, it's probably buried very deep or out at sea and then possibly buried deep. I grew up on the coast, spent a lot of time on the beach. You would be surprised how deep a car can get buried under the sand in a year or two, you would think it had been there two hundred years.

Oak Island has a lot of history for sure. I sure would like for them to find something substantial though. I think there are a lot of subsidies in the whole scheme of things. All the Cat equipment has got to be free for the advertising alone. Same for the vehicles and other equipment providers. Craig Tester and Marty Lagina were involved in oil field operations and are for sure multi millionaires. The other Lagina is a retired postal worker with a dream.
I think the main issue and it allows for the creative suspense is the permitting. I can't imagine what all is having to be done permit wise to get as far as they have. Additionally, when something comes out of the ground, Canada/Nova Scotia is probably all up in their business.
Now, having said that, to bury something that deep in that terrain is nuts. I do find the buried coffer dam system very intriguing. I too am on the same page, excavate the whole thing and get it over with please.
