Had a good couple weekends with great friends at the ranch. Started the weekend before Christmas with a nice axis buck. We tried for a management whitetail the same weekend, but couldn’t get on him. Fast forward to this past weekend and we stacked them up. The kids got to go crazy on some cull rams and we were after the management buck again. Didn’t end up getting him with the bow, but we gave it all we had and my buddy’s wife ended up getting him with the rifle on Sunday. The kids had a great time with my oldest and youngest getting theirs with their crossbow and my middle daughter and my buddy’s son getting it done with the 243. Good way to end 2018.
