When were the pictures taken?

My WAG is young 2-3 yo slightly with swollen neck.

Could be a run down old buck also but since his back isn't sunk and no brisket or gut I'd say young.

Shoot him and age his jaw so we all know who's correct.

Looks young. Front shoulders not developed, no say in the back left, short main beams, straight back, face looks young.

4.5 minimum and a legitimate cull, unlike many of the others people refer to as culls. The variation of age guesses crack me up.

The variation in age opinions varies greatly. I have hunted this ranch for the last 38 years (family ranch) and believe that it is mature. My wife does not like rag soup, so he will be going into sausage. I do not understand some of the opinions based on horn characteristics. Horns will cry by genetics and nutrition. I will skin the head and look at the jaw tomorrow. Here are some other deer that I feel are you and I see different body characteristics that make me feel that they are younger.
By the way this is post rut, northern Medina County, low fence, No protein, do throw corn year round.
