Lol. I actually had to use a fluoro leader. I ain’t used to water like this. Tides are up real high as well so not sure how that affects things. Water is beautiful. Think we’re gonna buy us a weekend spot down here.

Just curious... do you not use a leader any other time? I always thought you had too if you were using braid

I never do, just straight braid to lure.

I see. I always thought the fish could see the braid and shy away from it... guess clear vs muddy water would affect it

I used to use a leader. A well known guide I used to fish with used straight braid so I started doing it that way.
