    Vague rant analogy

Imagine if you spent a few years and a lot your time developing a drug that cured people of a very common disease, it works and you know it works because you’ve tested it and seen the results first hand . So you go to as many doctors as you can to tell them about this great new cure. Now imagine your frustration when almost every doctor you visit refuses to carry the drug because they have determined they can make more money off their patients by treating the disease rather than curing them. So you go straight to people with the disease telling them of this cure and their response is : I’ve never heard of it and i dont know a dr that offers it so you must be a fraud and your cure is only a placebo.

I have been clawing to get dealers set up with CoonHoods only to find most feedstores have determined that there bottom line is more important than doing right by customers.
If any of you TBHers have a retail business of any kind and would like to help me get this product line out there by becoming a dealer please message me..

    End of rant.
    Happy New Years!
Coonhood giveaway winner will be announced tomorrow around noon.

Man i hear you but in all honesty the internet is by far the best platform to get your product out there. There’s so much free advertisement platforms in social media and what not. You’ll touch 1000x more people than you would at a local feed store. You don’t need a feed store you need a big personality to put their stamp on it, but that takes money (takes money to make money). Just like those guys that sell BB2 etc all it is is dang sweet feed for horses, but let Michael Waddell and heartland bow hunter swear by it, and they can sell a 1/3 of the product for the same price. Good luck and stay at it.

And you can’t blame the feed store they’d be slitting their own throat, it’d be a bad business move on their part.

Create demand and the retail stores will purchase. Put yourself in the retailers shoes.

        Best of luck!

I don't know how one becomes an Amazon dealer, but i'd look into that. I've been trying to figure out a way to get a deer feed / hunting oriented retail outlet going in Ft. Worth. I have not been able to find a retail outlet that sells much more than AntlerMax protein in Ft.Worth. I'd like to be able to buy Red Chain feeds without having to drive to the mill to get it. I'd think a bunch of Metroplex hunters would like to be able to buy feed locally and other than what i've found offered in the local feed stores. But, i don't have the money to fund inventory, rent space, etc., etc.

It's frustrating. But as others have said: Keep at it. Hard work and a great idea will pay off. Maybe the best suggestion i'd have is to try to get in front a Cabela's buyer. Also, maybe rent a space at the TTHA shows. Gets you in front of a bunch of people.

Anyway, i look forward to receiving my shipment and putting those bad boys to work.

          Hang tough. Good luck!

I can't imagine that anyone who feeds protein would not want to at least try your product. I watched your video out of curiosity (I don't feed protein) and knew it would be a money saver. Good luck !

If you owned Goodyear or Cooper would you be doing R&D to come up with a tire that never wears out?

I'd send Gunnyart a PM. He has successfully put his item on the market.

I am not sure making this thread actually helps your cause any. Just an honest observation.

It takes a while to get the word out on new products, and it takes a marketing strategy and budget. Keep at it. Are you advertising in the hunting magazine?

I noticed that your website only lists 2 dealers, but I thought I saw somewhere you had more than that. Be sure to keep your dealer list up to date on your website.
