    Vanguard vs. Schwab

My company has 401k with vanguard but pays stock awards through Schwab account. I want to open just a general investing account for mutual funds. I log into both vanguard and Schwab frequently but can’t decide which one I prefer?

What are you thoughts on vanguard can Schwab? Again, general mutual fund investing. I’m leaning towards Schwab because it’ll be easier to roll stock awards into my other investing account if I wanted.

I have been a little interested in Vangaurd because of the lower maintenance cost. After I found out how much I am being charged by Raymond James.

Just scared to pull the trigger.

been happy since switching to Vanguard. If you have over $100k investment, it will allow you to use the Financial Engines app ... very nice tool !

Vanguard typically has lower expense ratios on their funds

Schwab because they pay my bills.

                    My wife works for them.
