I only use American Express they are truly the one and only card that will monitor your card 24/7. If they suspect fraud they deny the charge and send text or call immediately

More than a few times I've used the Amex to fuel up at Bucee's on my way to the lease then walk inside to have the card declined when trying to pay my Bucee's tax (make an every trip $100+ purchase- corn, ice, beer, coffee).
Then after I pay with another card I get a text after I've left the parking lot asking if I approve the charge. The delay is too long IMO.
I called them each time and take care of it on the road. I think I can let them know I'm traveling in advance but it's another "thing" to do before making a lease trip. the last few trips this didn't occur, so maybe they've finally learned my habits.
The USAA/ AMEX gives me 2% rewards on fuel & groceries and 3% on dining out, this keeps me coming back for more
