1st focal plane vs 2nd focal plane

I have been looking at 2 different scopes. One has the FFP and the is SFP but has better glass.
Will be going on a 22-250 for hunting out of box blind and also for predator hunting. Calling coyotes, etc.
    Let me know your thoughts.

Go with the SFP better glass for that situation.

You arnt going to do complicated hold off or range estimation with the reticle.

If you were shooting comps I might argue different but for this SFP will do awesome

I run a ffp on my wife’s 7 WSM but it’s built for 1000 yard killing. I have a sfp night force on my 308 that is shoot out to a grand and I wish it was ffp. After using one you’ll never want to go back.

My question is what are the two scopes you are debating? I can honestly say that it’s real hard for me to see the difference between almost any high end scope. However, I love the glass in my night force.

For me for predator hunting ffp is a must. Whether your on 6 power or 18 power 30-400 yards. It’s always the same
