    Tag Soup

Well, today was the end of my 2018 Deer Season. I shot a few pigs with my bow but just didn’t get the job done on does or bucks.

    Hoping 2019 will be better.

I’m right behind you. Deer activity has fallen off at my feeders. Plus with all the rain I can hardly get to my stands anyway. Been kind of a bummer season.

Been a good year deer number wise for me. But it's getting late and I dont have meat in the freezer either.

Need to find the right doe and make it happen before I'm in the soup club

I haven’t killed a deer this year either and I paid $325 for an out of state license.

I passed on some nice bucks during bow season and ended up filling my tag with a nasty old cull buck. Feel bad for passing some of the bigger guys.

I'm trying to get back home from Colorado in time to make next weekends hunt. Otherwise I'll be eating tag soup as well this year

Harvested two Does (One Bow, One Gun) but my highlight was hunting with my USAF TSgt Daughter and watching her take a nice 8 Point Buck.

Heading to the Ranch and hope to a nice Axis or Whitetail Buck on New Years morning.

Your not alone. I have all my tags left too. Least you got a few hogs, I hadn’t flung an arrow or squeezed a trigger on anything this year.

Our local deer processor said their #'s are down 30% from last year, guess its the wet season. Thank goodness I got it done in october and for youth hunts to put meat in the freezer because november/december was not ideal this year.

Ate all tags the past 6 years, only eating a couple this year.

I am on call. Been chasing one buck this year. He disappeared a week a go. If he pops back up I have a 4.5 hour drive to get him........

                          One more week...............

Been a tough year, 2 hogs a doe and a cull for me. I normally like 5 deer in the freezer and won't see that this year.

My target buck made a midnight showing a couple of days ago. I thought he was dead it's been a long long since I've seen him. Two daylight pictures of him since September.

Headed out Wednesday afafternoon to hunt for 3 days. Hopefully a doe will volunteer to ride in the back of my truck.

It was so slow this year I thought my covert cameras had stopped working.
