Do you need to remove the floors? Pesticides?

Depends on container manufacturer. You have multiple options. And in some cases as in my container above the floor was not treated with chemicals hazardous to humans. If your container was treated you can remove the flooring and replace. Or put an epoxy sealant over wood to inhibit fumes.

Here is our 40 foot container. We put in a large shower which makes a big difference in my opinion. They lock up tight and keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. m.
