What's this?

I was only gone for the weekend and came back to notice a few changes.
First was the PM format, which I like.
Second is this little symbol. I looked but couldn't find anything about it.



Can someone enlighten me as to what this is?

Its a "tag"... Something to do w/ searching for posts... sorry not much help i'm still trying to figure it out too.

if you do advanced search there's a place at the bottom with that symbol.......still don't know exactly what it's for

I added the tag "symbol" type that in the advanced search where you see tag box

I've noticed when you click on your avatar after a reply, you don't see any of your information any more???????
