vortex Strike Eagle vs Athlon Argos BTR

I'm looking at purchasing a new scope. I'm looking at the Vortex Strike Eagle and the Athlon Argos BTR.
I trying to stay around the $400 range but could go up a little if needed.

Which one would you choose and why?

Man I am in the same boat. I am a die hard vortex guy, but recently my FIL has been telling me about the Athlons. I've done my research, read reviews and watched hours of videos just trying to learn about Athlon. After all my research and seeing all of the results I believe ill be choosing the Athlon Helos. For the money and the product your receiving you cant beat it and when you look at what you get for the price and look at a vortex, the price isn't close.

I have been researching a lot on Athlon too. I like that it is a FFP and most reviews are positive and tracking on the dials are true.

Those were the 2 I was looking at. I like the price point of the athlon but I do like the 1-6 over the 1-4 of the vortex. I ended up with the strike eagle and really like it. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the vortex reticle but I’m a fan after shooting it. I don’t think you will be disappointed in either.

There are some good deals on there. they have a great deal on another midas.
It is a SFP scope, where as the Argos is a FFP. The Midas has better glass though, so I'm trying to make a decision.
