    Table Scraps

Do any of you guys/gals use table scraps to help lure in hogs?? If so, does it work? Obviously I use a feeder, but I thought if I started putting out all our uneaten food, maybe that might help. Thanks

Any kind of food will attract hogs! You just have to do it on a regular basis to hold them in the area! ( A hog log is a good idea for this)

I've tried plain corn, watermelon and cantaloupe rinds, pear cores and peelings, soured corn, and old dog food, and none of it could come close to the results I get with plain corn.

When my sister had a restaurant I would get 5 gallon buckets of slop. Screw the lid on, cut a few 1" holes in it, and set them out for hogs. Worked great for getting them hitting a spot quick.

Try strawberry jello mix. They go nuts.

I dump strawberry jello ontop of corn in a bump feeder. Works well. Dry mix.

Yes, but! The best thing I ever used was the cheap Parade Jello mixture, just pour it in the dirt, mud or a little bit of water, nothing better and cost about .25cents. Straw berry would be the flavor of the month.
