POC waterfowl ?

In truck headed down with older kid and friend of his now. Anyone been on the water in last week? Be out in morning and wondering if I need to run way back Pringle area or if I can just dump so blocks around big pocket and let these two kids kill redheads. I just want to go fish.

Haven’t heard much shooting lately.
Lots of water got pushed out with this last front. Maybe the south east wind will fill the bay back up.

We are waiting on the birds to show up before we make a run down there. Strange year for bird #'s.

Couple weeks ago there was not much down but we did see a single flock of a thousand or so Redheads Pringle area. Airboat kept kicking them up repeatedly and they'd just circle right back down where they came from. Some buffleheads over in big pocket that's about it. Should be a few more birds by now though.

Well we are loaded, trailered, decoys and fishing gear just in case. I’ll let you guys know. Figure I’ll run some dirt in the morning and just check it out. May even hit fish pond area

Wind has the bays back filled up. There ain’t a bunch of birds down. It’s better than sitting at work

Me and 2 kids killed 5 redheads, 3 scaup, and 2 buffleheads. I ran some of the marsh and had very few ducks and decided to hunt big water for divers. It was still slow. We should have killed some more birds and it was still slim pickings.
