Wife is gathering up everything for a big chicken and sausage gumbo. Of course there will be a ton of dessert too!

Looks good! Hard to believe y’all still have tenderized steaks from last year. We grill 90% of ours. My family of 7 at 13 deer last year. Got 11 in the freezer this year. It’s all we eat. I agree that looks like a fantastic Christmas dinner. Bring in the gravy and fried taters. Merry Christmas!!!

I forgot to answer the question. We are eating ribeye (guys) and New York strips ( girls). Deer steaks would be my preference

Smoked a turkey today and gonna make enchiladas with it tomorrow for Christmas. No idea why but that’s what the wife requested and it’s easier than the normal big spread we do so I’m not complaining!

Home cured ham from a young pig shot last spring and two elk neck roasts from my wife's October bull. Supposed to be 14 friends to feed!
