    Ozonics question

Is it ok to use Ozonics machine in a blind with a Lil Buddy heater? I will have two bow windows open and was wondering if I fired up the little heater if there was any danger.

I dont want y'all to read about a small explosion near Stockdale from an idiot deer hunting.

I don't think it would be a problem BUT the Ozonics should be pointing out the window anyway. Someone correct me if im wrong. New to the Ozonics game as well

I run both of mine together at the same time. I also use the boost mode, but I like to live on the edge

I run both all the time in my 7' x 5' box blind... my heater is on the left side of me on the floor. My ozonics is above my head (mounted at the top of the window) and on whatever side is downwind, sometimes thats the left but usually it is to my right. I've never had a problem....

Okay, I will put the heater to one side of me. Thanks for the info.

I honestly don't think you need to go through the trouble to separate them. Ive never really thought about it. I guess you could if it makes you feel better but ozone is just a naturally occuring substance so i don't see how it could hurt the heatet. The ozonics is up high and blowing out the window so it shouldnt be blowing anywhere near the heater anyway.

I think he is more concerned about sufficient concentrations of propane (maybe a faulty heater?) to be lit by the heating element in the Ozonics. But if that's the case, you shouldn't be breathing that anyway.

If you smell gas, I'd be worried. Then again, I don't use a Buddy Heater. Just thinking out loud.

No issue, the ozonics basically just scrubs the air going thru it much like a electric precipitator and doesn't create an oxygen rich atmosphere, if that is what you are asking.

I really did not know, there is no information on the Ozonics website about it. They do address a thermacell though. I did not know if there was static electricity made thru the ozone machine that would cause a problem with the heater or if the heat or fumes from the heater would be an issue.

I will go the route NurseJenn says and keep the two separated as far as possible.
