Our first-class resources for player/coach development and MLB professional staff allow coaches to coach and players to play. SSK1 Baseball Academy employs an age-appropriate combination of lessons, video analysis, strength/agility training, camps, practices, leagues and tournaments to ensure our players enjoy maximum success throughout their youth. What makes SSK1 Baseball Academy different from most competitive youth baseball teams is our commitment to development. SSK1 Baseball Academy players are expected to maintain solid standing in school, and are recognized for their academic achievements as well as their athletic achievements. Our players will participate in professionally organized MLB instructed practices that will stress fundamentals in a positive approach that lacks in youth baseball today.

Hate to admit it but I’m about ready to sit a freeze again at the fields. Kid started throwing last week and seems excited

this winter i got brock in with mason englert, pitcher from forney last year and current minor leaguer with the rangers. brock was pumped to meet him and i have been very impressed with some of the stuff they have been doing. last nights lesson went really well, masons buddy jonathan childress was there, forney teammate and current freshman pitcher for the aggies, they were both great and made a few adjustments to brocks changeup grip that made a big difference. he has never thrown more than 20 pitches in the 50min lesson, they spend a lot of time on arm care and warming up/cooling down.

neither of my boys have picked up a bat in about 6 weeks, we will probably get started hitting in the next week or so.

all the boys care about right now is hunting, every day after school they ask if we can go sit in the stand, which is cool with me, hopefully it will fire them up a bit more when the practices start.

we will be 11u academy select-saylor and 8u ntx generals this spring. i am really hoping that the 8s will play some kid pitch too.

Hitting and defense are really the only thing we have semi kept up with. Have went to see Lucroy over in a NRH facility a couple times.

Have been playing basketball quite a bit, and going to get into some more agility type stuff. His defense looks great, now just trying to smooth it out.

Playing for Dodgers - Greenway in the Spring

Guys make sure you schedule another break in the year. At least 4 weeks without touching a baseball. Just for arm strength and wellness

Basketball and roping right now for my son. He still has his 30 min batting per week. He has been switching one week he bats and one week he does fielding. About to take a 2-3 week time off from that as well pretty quick

We just got our schedule for the Spring, lol - I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it.

Looks like Steamboat, CO is the destination.
