Both my stepsons have went hunting "once" with me and I have been working on them to go again. One of them wants to and they younger one is still undecided.
Last year in May they both made kills but using a crossbow. My oldest stepson said he wanted to go again but with a caompund bow. So I bought a PSE Baby G off a co-worker of my wife's and its been int he spare room since last August.
Today after seeing the pics of myself and Chew's big hogs yesterday I guess it got his blood boiling and he asked today for me to set it up and let him shoot.
So he brough it out to the garage where I tuned it for him, set his peep and off we went. I was shocked as he is a natural, a few dozen shots after we sighted it in and all were on the money. Made me rather proud
!!!!
He is on it and likes it, now I am fletching him up some new shafts and hopefully he will join me next time out bowhunting.
the joys of seeing them take interest and move forward is what I love to see.
Just thought I would share with you all.
