Best Place to Eat in Pearsall

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Not much to choose from in pearsall but I recently ate at Garcia's across from the Oak theater and it was really good mexican food. La Parillada on E. Colorado near oak street is my 2nd pick. If you're through there in the evenings, the taco stands on comal street are pretty good. I would go to Ben's taco stand first if its open. Cowpokes bbq use to be decent but its been a long time since I've been.

Only thing I know there is Los Casadores.

Further south in Dilley I ate everyday @ Poncho’s Mexican. No one speaks English there however and I heard Poncho died.

Cowpokes for Bbq and Garcia’s for Mexican is what we do.

We used to eat breakfast every year at Mi Casa Cafe in Pearsall and it was a really good place.

My boy said some guy put up a little storage building in front of the the O'Rileys and is selling brisket that is really good. He was shut down for a few days due to not having water. Guess he got it corrected.

Turkey sandwich with extra sauce and a lemonade from Cowpokes is hard to beat.

Hector's used to have the best gorditas around but I don't think they're open any longer.

Depending on how close you are to Pearsall, Desi’s in Batesville is very good and the only restaurant in town. Get the deluxe Mexican plate.

Fat Hector died a few years ago.
