Instant pot is great for big pork loins. Get it hot and brown on all sides, then cook for half hour til done and juicy.

One thing we do often is a pork loin for pulled pork sandwich

We buy the big pork loin at Walmart and cut it in half put it in the insta pot and pour a can of Dr Pepper in. Cook for 40 minutes. Shread the meat and pour some sweet baby Rays over it and mix. Put the meat in a Hawaiian Roll with cheese and pickles. My family loves it

We have also steamed asparagus, baked potatoes, corn on the cob. Does a great job. What is great about it is you can set it and walk away from it. It will beep when finished

                Beat me to it.

Fixed a pot of beans last night. They turned out really good. I also like the set it and forget it part while cooking things like beans, it will make tending the pit and cooking a pot of beans in the house a little less stressful.

My wife was disappointed that it doesn’t necessarily cook some things faster. It can take 10-20 min for it to come to temperature and then build the pressure needed for the button to pop up, BUT you’re not at the stove cooking the entire time. You’re able to do other things like sit down and relax, help the kids with homework, knock out a few chores. This is what I really like about it. Our time in the evenings is limited and the pace is fast to get everything done. Adding 20-45 mins of flexibility by not having to stand at the stove has really freed up some valuable time to make the rest of the evening less rigid.

Here’s a good Mac n cheese recipe. I’ve made it a few times and tweaked it each time. Ditch the parmesan, it is overpowering. Instead replace with 4oz Colby jack. Use half the recommended mustard. It’s kind of like shells and cheese. The first time you make it it will be good but you’ll instantly know what you’ll want to try the next time to make it perfect.

This is the BEST Instant Pot Mac and Cheese! Made extra creamy with a secret ingredient plus delicious cheddar & parmesan cheese. It can be made in just 4 minutes with your electric pressure cooker.

Trying the instant pot as a slow cooker today. Making venison carne guisada. Smells dang good already but have 8hrs yet to go.

Carne guisada in the slow cooker! This rich, spicy beef stew is perfect for making tacos or eating right out of the pot like a feral beast
