Hey guys I have decided that I want either a Marauder or a Sniper. I'm not sure which one is better. I plan on using for hog hunting down in FL along with bowfishing at night here. Any suggestions or reviews are welcome! Thanks guys!

They are both good lights, they are both built well, the Marauder puts out I believe 80 lumens, The sniper puts out 160 lumens, some say the sniper is to bright, some say the Marauder isn't bright enough.
I personally use the Original Sniper and now a Mini Sniper. I have never had a hog spook off of either one.
Sit back and watch the show...... it will get good soon.
for bowfishing purposes, I would go with the maruader. It comes with three different lights and is plenty bright. You will get a red, green, white light with the marauder........The white light would be perfect for bowfishing at night I would think....
As for the bowfishing.... Every rig I have fished off of had plenty of lights so I have never needed a bow mounted light. I may be wrong but it isn't good for either light to leave them running that long anyway. You may be better off with rechargeable spot lights to walk and fish with if that is your plan.

I already have the pontoon ready to be rigged up with lights but this is my plan for the section of our lake that does not allow motors. Gonna use in the row boat and possibly off the dock.

For what it's worth, the Illinois Bowfishing Association just placed their order for Marauders. Check with Razorback Outfitters in Orlando Florida and see what they have to say about it for bowfishing in addition to hog hunting. feedback from customers using the Marauder for hogs is that they are comfortable with shooting 50 yards at night which is plenty for enough for us. The nearest dealer to you is a ways off, Whitetail Outpost in Newark, Maryland but you definitely won't be better off with another light, much less a spotlight, regardless of where you buy.
Here we go again... These threads are getting more popular than high fence, which broadhead is better, which bow is better threads.
You should determine what's important to you and pick the light that meets those needs. It's just like picking a bow, everyone has different preferences. Decide what's important to you and find the light that meets those needs.
Summary of the two lights:
Sniper - 160 lumens and very bright. Rechargeable battery that is not readily available. Can only be use for night hunting with a bow.
Marauder - 80 lumens - bright enough to shoot out to 50 yards but not too bright for close shots. Flexibility to use as a flashlight, 3 different color LEDs, and uses common batteries that are sold everywhere. You can buy rechargeables in AAA if needed.
I can shoot my black hog target out to 50 yards with my Marauder. I couldn't imagine needing any brighter light. In fact I'm scared that brighter lights would scare off the hogs when they are 10-20 yards away. I also prefer the green LED. It looks a lot like moon light and my eyes adjust to it much faster. I also like the fact that the Marauder has the tailcap for a flashlight. Because the Marauder is so flexibile, it's the flashlight I put in my hunting pack for to/from stand walking and blood tracking after the shot on other animals like deer, elk, and exotics. The white light is a great blood tracking light and the red LED is great for using to walk to/from your stand without sacrifing your night vision! It's O-Ring sealed so it's water resistant so I use it when I go fishing. It's small enough that I can put it in my pocket or my tackle box. It's also the flashlight I have in my glove compartment for roadside emergencies. I also like the fact that it uses AAA batteries. All my other electronics use AAA so if I don't need a 2way radio, then I can switch batteries out with it if needed. I can also stop at a gas station and buy new batteries on my way hunting/fishing if I forget to change the batteries at home.
As you can see, I don't value the brighter lights. I'm not trying to take 50+ yard shots at night on hogs. I like equipment that is flexible to use in multiple situations. In flexibility there is no comparison between the two. The Marauder is bad *** and you won't be disappointed in it. Once you buy it, you won't need another flashlight around the house, in your car, in your hunting pack, or in your tackle box.

In that case there is no comparison. Marauder with the white LED. No other light offers you that flexibility...
