Program changing? Like the wake up call of loosing to Maryland. Annually!!!

I don't believe the 'quality loss' BS, but not all Ws and Ls are the same.

Next year Texas hosts LSU in Sept, if Texas played them close but takes an early season loss is that the same as loosing to Maryland? I don't think it is. Loosing to a really good team vs loosing to a bottom dweller is wildly different. Don't y'all have a home-home coming up with Alabama in '20-21, would that be a bigger or smaller win than Kansas?

UCF is on a 21 game win streak. They are not in the NC conversation - are all W's created equal? The world is about to find out if they are serious though, they get a chance to play big boy football against LSU, so we will see.

A loss against #4 OK sent tu to a big bowl game, not to the bottom of the list. So is a loss to a top 5 team the same as loosing to an unranked team?

My whole comment earlier was a play on the Ags here and Twitter talking about the Clemson loss as being program changing....not all of course, but enough. The comment had nothing to do with wins or losses in general...I just wanted to see if they were included.. Speaking of Alabama, that loss was hinted as similar. The "two best losses in college football" is a quote I remember seeing....sarcastic or not.
