The ladies auxiliary group located in Brazoria is new to the scene but thanks to the success of last years Sugarplum Market, they are making a name for themselves. The local community came through in a big way last year and raised way more money for local vets than anyone expected. Thanks to funds raised last year, the ladies are currently building a small, well insulated "cabin" for a local vet that has been living in a metal shed for no telling how long. Seeing a mentally disabled veteran of our country that fought over seas, living in a small metal tool shed is unfortunately something I will never forget. They have also bought school supplies for kids of veterans, donated to Military Moms and helped other vets out with funds for random needs.
If you're in the area swing by and check out the vendors. I picked up several Christmas presents last year including a damascus skinner that I paid @$40. Also be sure to tell the pretty young lady (my amazing bride) running the silent auction that TBH is out representing!
