    Hitachi tablesaw

Does anyone have any experience with one of these.Thinking about pulling the trigger on a table saw. Looked at lots of reviews and the Dewalt would probably be my first choice if money was not a consideration. This Hitachi got really good reviews and was #1 on Tool Box Buzz reviews(beating Dewalt). The Dewalt is a great saw but I would be using it for hobby`s and small projects and the Hitachi is $200.00 less. This saw is really close to the Dewalt with a lot smaller price tag.

Probably going to be some deals on Hitachi here shortly as they've merged with Metabo and are doing some rebranding. They have some game changers coming out soon that they unveiled at the International Woodworking Fair last August.

As a Hitachi tool user and owner, I believe the new owner is making a mistake with the name change.

Nah they’ll be fine, I’ve got 15 year old metabo power tools that I’ve rebuilt from wearing them out and are still going strong.....

I have the compound miter and it has been great. I would not hesitate.

I agree...Metabo is making a mistake merging their German engineering and high quality tools with Hitachi

We have some Hitachi drills and impact and they have been solid. The quality of them vs Metabo seems to be in different leagues.

Not arguing about Metabo quality. The nail guns is what I’m mainly thinking about. Lots of folks are fans of the Hitachi framing nailers as well as siding coil nailers.
