Spofford Area Ranches

Just wondering if anyone in TBH world works / hunts south west of Spofford. In particular just west of the military airfield out there. Was out flying there today and saw an orange tractor moving the fence line approx where the pin is on the below picture. As I flew over I thought to myself, wonder if that guy bow hunts.

Also wondering about the ranch in the top left corner where the circle is. I have always wondered what he has penned up down there. I’ve been flying out here almost 5 years but have no idea.

Not anymore, but hunted the ranch just north of Spofford for 12 years. Just the southernmost corner of the ranch is pictured on your screenshot. We should’ve stayed on that lease. It seemed like a long drive at the time, but I miss it now.

Bass Frontier Ranch. They bred whitetails and imported exotics for kick and shoots.

I think it sold recently, so I’m not up to date on current operations.

Haha small world I hunt the ranch just west of the airport. Headed down there this weekend to guide some hunters. Hunting the east side of the ranch is much better on the weekends when they aren't doing touch and go's!!

I have family in Spofford. Just got back from visiting for Thanksgiving. We saw some big deer driving along the highway.
