McKinney seems right. Close to more nightlife, food, activities, and major highways. Get a nice house with a pool, and start throwing TBH parties.

If you guys want land with the house or want it to be a bit quieter, Princeton.

Bigger the house, higher bills, higher taxes...

Funny how we all see things differently. Those are the things I try and avoid at all cost

While it is nightlife, it is not downtown nightlife. It is great meals, quiet little pubs. A few local little bands here and there. Bakeries and the such. It's a historic district in designation, and has a great feel.

We were just there last weekend for the Christmas festival where the square was shut down and vendors lined the streets. Everybody had a great time.

Liberty is a nice neighborhood in Anna just outside McKinney.

You must have misunderstood. I have a house way out to be as far away as possible. If your 28, no family and asking about living in McKinney or princeton you better be ok with those things, thus the closer the better.

Agreed, it's much easier to get to Dallas or Addison from McKinney than Princeton if you want 11pm-2am nightlife.

Hanks has great bands come through.

Hanks is definitely a great time with some very good country acts.

                  Welcome to the neighborhood.
                  Princeton is booming right now.
North of McKinney is also growing.
Depending on where you work both 380 and HWY 75 can be a bear.

                    Neither
I’d look to Celina or Prosper personally. Easy access to DNT, still in the smallish side (but growing pretty quick). Celina has a decent little square in town.
Projections are that McKinney will be around 300,000 population by 2028
I think we are going to sell and move north soon until we decide to sell our business, then we are heading closer to the coast.

Taxes are crazy high in Collin County and getting worse every year. If I could I would go over to Grayson, Fannin or Hunt county. They are also getting hit with higher taxes but not like CC. People are moving in like crazy in CC.

If you can, move to the Prosper area, prices are high but the schools are well worth it. It is also a great community with shopping areas growing.

Celina is also the same as prosper with a better “rural” feel.
