Harvested this Mule Deer buck on family land that I lease for cattle and hunting. I have been seeing mule deer does and young bucks all summer. I came out early November 17th opening day without much hope of harvesting anything. As the sun rose and made its way into the canyon I was overlooking a group of them appeared. Once I determined a shooter buck was in the group I backed out and made my way around to a side canyon to get into position. Dropped him on the top of the opposite canyon at 200 yards with the Savage .308.
