I'm a student at Texas Tech studying Natural Resources Management and would like to get a part-time job next semester. I think I have my class schedule worked out to where I'm done by 12:00 everyday. I can work afternoons after class and some weekends if needed. I should be able to start Mid-January.
Throughout high school, I've worked on a ranch near Sweetwater doing many different tasks including cattle work, building/repairing fence, metal building construction, general upkeep and repairs, welding, building a set of cattle working pen, etc. I have also done many welding projects (Stick and Mig) on my own time including building two flatbed trailers, H-Braces, Pipe Fence, deer feeders, deer blinds, a high rack, multiple smokers, and many other projects. I also have an education 7018 welding certification.
I might have found a possible job working for a farmer near Lubbock, but I wanted to see what my options were. I'm really open to any kind of job, so just let me know what you have.
Thank you,
Kanyon Carper
