    I have on in lavaca co. Haven't seen him in a few months but he's been more and more reclusive as the years go by. He went through this the summer of his second year putting on a tall narrow 7 point frame. On his 4th year he added a small drop tine.

    If he's still alive, he's 7 this year. I would have shot him for the meat years ago but he's not legal for AR regs.

      Several killed on Mason Mt WMA last year on our public hunt there. One hit the ground on the shot and both his velvet spikes just popped off. Biologists out there agree it is more prevalent during or post drought conditions.

        Some buddies that hunt outside Fredericksburg (mainly granite gravel soil and granite outcroppings) have at least 3 stag bucks on camera- they got one of them earlier this year. Very interesting about the fungus/mold in granite gravel soil areas- never heard of it but seems to have some truth to it
