Austin Housing for Interns

My son and his buddy are looking for 2 bedroom housing in Austin. They are both A&M students. Internship starts Jan. 3 and ends mid August. Company is EE Reed on Bee Cave Road.

If anyone knows of a 2 BR garage apartment or something else, please let me know.

Both are good students, good kids, would be good renters. Their budget is around $900 - 1000/month.

Good luck, the rent is crazy in Austin, might have them look at some of the surrounding towns

Don't tell anyone their Aggies. Look out of town and hope none of that austin weirdness rubs off.

Have them look in Dripping Springs as well. It is west of there.

My neighbors here in hutto rent out rooms for like 4 to 500 a month. Always getting rid of renters and new people in quarterly. I think they don't screen them and give them the boot when late

Yeah I would go as bold to claim that cant be done in Austin. And if it can, I would sleep with a 1911 on my chest.

They definitely need to look outside of Austin. Tell them to check Bastrop area for sure. Still tough to find rent places there, but they are considerably cheaper.
