Broadhead VS Hog Shoulder

Shot this hog tonight (rifle). When I got up to him this was sticking out. Looks like a crimson talon of some sort to me. Anyone else identify it? Apparently someone shot him about 8 inches to the left of where they were aiming and the shoulder plate completely stopped the head.

Thats definately a talon, which wouldn't be my choice for shooting hogs...but I doubt it would matter much they dont call that part of a hogs shoulder the shield for nothing
