Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale,AZ?

Anyone been to the Talking Stick Resort/Casino in Scottsdale? My wife's company(headquarters in Arizona)is having there Christmas party there this weekend and they paid for my wife's airfare and hotel, so I just had to pay for my airfare. We will fly out Friday afternoon and fly back Sunday. Anyone been to this resort or have any must do's for a quick trip to Scottsdale? Thanks

YES and YES I am from AZ resort is very nice , what type of things do you like to do. Old town Scottsdale has some gallerias bars places to eat .

We go on a golf trip there every summer. It was flooded this year and i hadn’t heard they reopened it. The casino is nice, you aren’t far from the Arizona Cardinals stadium if you wanted to catch a game. Golf is second to none, and the nightlife is pretty incredible. Old town Scottsdale is a nice little scene.

Stayed there a few times when I traveled to Phoenix. If you like cajun food, Ocean Trail is well worth the stop. It's on the casino floor.

Thanks. We will be there Friday afternoon and the party is Sat night. We will probably hang out in the casino Friday night but we will have pretty much all day Sat to maybe do a little bar hopping or sight seeing.
