TX Beach House - where?

My Dad wants to rent the family a beach house this summer. We’ll have 12-14 people and would like to be on or very near the beach. We also plan to charter/guide fish at least one day. I realize AL and FL beaches are better but that’s not an option.

Where would you go given the parameters?

Crystal Beach is nice. Should be plenty of rentals available to accommodate a group that size.

Someone posted a vacation trip on here 3 or 4 years ago. Big house, several families, big dock, boathouse and a lot of character to the house. I don't remember where it was but it was called The Judge or Judge __?__'s House.

It looked like a great place to take a group.

Another vote for south padre, we have been there the last 3 years and we love it. The charter boats are good too. Just make sure ya'll plan during snapper season

exact one we stayed in and loved it!

I am another "port aransas" vote. We go with family every year with about the same amount of people. Rent a golf cart and cruise up and down the beahch and into town. Couple of restraunts and bars and fishing in the bay and offshore is easy to book from there
