Stuck a pig! - video to follow

I set up a new Ameristep Intimidator this morning out in front of a feeder where I have had pigs coming in. I got in about 4:40 and before I could get set up good a group comes strolling in and began vacuuming the corn. I stuck a young male and he is laying in the woods with my arrow in him which I want back. I did it the hard way with him quartering a little too much away. It is currently 41 degrees and falling so he will keep as long as the 'yotes don't get him. As soon as I recover him and get LDPs I'll post the video. I need to remember I have a GPS now so it is easy to mark last blood IF you have it with you. I can find last blood though since there were three holly trees together near it.

          Good Luck, Bill.

Is this the feeder behind your house? Where Mom videoed you this week?

          Good Stuff.

So what was the outcome? From the 2 pics the shot looks pretty high with little penetration?

I didn't recover the pig. Looked for several hours yesterday morning.

                        Randy no, with the compound.

Penetration was good, in these pics you can't see the 6 or so inches of arrow out the other side. Yeh it was a bit high but he was bleeding like a "stuck pig" for a long way. Should have had him a little more broadside. Lost a GT Pro hunter and Shuttle T lock in the process too.

Sorry to hear it. You might could have saved the T lock but I'm betting the arrow would have been broken anyway. The only time I have ever recovered shootable arrow from a pig were on pass through shots.

Dang, too bad you couldn't get that thing. We need to get a B/CS TBH get together going sometime.
