I listened to one of the Sitka designers talk about how camo works. When he finished his rant he basically said “we can make camo so that you could never be picked out of a tree no matter what, but if you can’t sit still then nobody can help you” lol.

I have shot more than one sitting in a tree with blue overalls.
Had some inside 10 yds weeks ago while under an oak tree

Not sure how seeing blue would benefit a deer, not many blue predators other than a man in blue jeans. Unless seeing blue is a by product of them being able to pick out movement so easy.

Someone posted this link on another thread a couple weeks ago. Very cool. Its interesting to look back at old deer camp photos and see all the successful hunters wearing red plaid. Id like to find a video like this but for hog vision.

I do agree with the hunter orange. I've noticed it makes no difference to the deer most of the time. Been hunting public lands for over 30 years.

I took it as deer see well in blue spectrums of light. He referenced dawn and dusk as times when those light spectrums exist.

I found the explanation on how deer see when moving through brush interesting.
