We hunt between Cranfils Gap and Fairy in Hamilton Co. With AT&T I could stream video and use my hotspot to watch football games and work at the Ranch house. With Sprint, I cant make a phone call or text from the house. I only get signal in my stand (it's on the highest point of the property) and it's a roaming LTE signal. I get BS corporate answers from Sprint when I ask about coverage out here. Its 2018... we have 5G on the near horizon, they say we put man on the moon but we cant get a dang phone to work in rural america...

Sprint sucks outside of the cities or on major roadways. I've been hunting with a guy for 11 years with Sprint and he bitches about it dang near every time I see him. He's been saying he's going to change to AT&T since he saw how good AT&T worked at our lease the first year.
Now he's still with Sprint because they are "cheaper". I asked him what good is cheaper if there is no usage where you spend a lot of time. He couldn't answer that. His phone is basically a paperweight once we get to the front gate or inside my cabin with the booster....and even with the booster his data and internet usage sucks.

Cell towers are expensive to build. They pay up to $5000 a month just for the space they put it on. No company can survive if they provide an expenssive service that very few people will use. I have to drive 6 or 7 miles from our cabin in northern NY to get to any providers service area. We use a network extender at our cabin. It's basically a mini cell tower that works through the internet.
