The last 2 years were very tuff for me, 1st my bro in law passed 2nd, my wife got laid off, and to top it all. My mother passed, just on march of last year. Life is now slowly getting back to normal &, I'm trying my best to live life as it should be. I would like to say a Big Thank you to all the folks on the Green Screen for all the thought & prayers for me, & my families. I have been away from the forums for a bit to try to heal & gather my self, I know everyone hits a bump &, sometimes we all need someone to talk to. I grow up in such a huge family that has an endless love, family, friends nor strangers. We all give our shirts off our backs for someone that needs it most, & I am very blessed to have the families & friend I have in life. And yes, to all the great folks here on the Green Screen, you folks are also one of my big families, as always. As everyone always said, we have big families & there are going to be pains to endure. I would like to once again say thank you to all the great folks here on TBH, you folks always make me proud, laugh, cry, & share knowledge with you all. And yes, I will never stop bragging about these great forums. I do beleive these site make life easier for everyone, not to mention all the fun & laughters. Thank you all & I wish all the bros & sis a, very happy new year. God bless.

Got up early to go hunt and could hear some heavy stuff falling out of the sky on the metal roof. I ain't that mad at em this morning so it's gonna be coffee and catch up on Gold Rush and Bering Sea Gold.

Rain is needed but kicking our butt. The adjuster came out yesterday and looked at the damage, I have to make an inventory (which ought too be a four letter word...) of all my belongings in the fire.

This is not a pleasant task and it just makes you realize what was lost. My sister went thru my Facebook photos and that has helped, but you do grind your teeth when something else is added to the list. guns alone was about $4700

Went to my Dr. for a bi-annual physical yesterday and told him my wife wanted me to do a stress test do to some shortness of breath. He sends me to a heart guy today for a prelimnary meeting. Theueguy puts on a high power listening device and starts working around my neck and chest and back then proceeds to talk about a squishing sound on the right side of my neck and a leaking valve on the right side of my heart and another valve problem on the left side. So now we are set for echogram and lower something or other sonogram and a 2 day stress test next week.
I felt pretty good going in but sure felt like I'd been kicked by a mare mule when I came back out. I gave it over to the Master Physician to see what He can do by test time next week. Even had grilled chicken for supper tonight and will eat right as much as I can from now on. I have a 19 month old grandson and a little grandaughter due in April that would be pretty mad if their PawPaw wasn't around to play with.
I believe I read this in a post this morning:

My wife and I have been so sick with the dang flu...would have to get better to die. We both had flu shots this year, but dang, this stuff sucks! Hope nobody else has it.
