Fish on is the word of the day Gary, y'all have some fun.
It was nice to get the yak on the water for the first time this year. We caught a few dink reds and trout. One keeper other than Syl, was the best I could do. Just thankful to be doing it on a beautiful, but windy morning.
Broke out the pits today in Canada as we are entertaining some expats this evening. Brisket went on at daylight and ribs after lunch. GJ's pit is doing well with two racks of ribs!

One is better than none Gary, gives you something to add to this evening or tomorrow.
Painting the bedroom on Sunday. Glad this only happens every decade. From the end of waterfowl season in Jan through start of our deer season in July is when all the honey-dos get completed.
On top of getting a great hat this weekend I did a little road trip thru the state and ended up at the Bill Witliff southwestern collection and saw the original motivation behind my hat in the lonesome dove exhibit . Not as big as I thought but I got to see Duvall's, Jones', lane's and some of other stats wardrobes and props.
Blaine's vollyeball team swept the competition this weekend to earn medals.
It was the last tournament of the season so it was fun to end with the victory. It was also the first time we made it through a weekend without a loss.
The girls made a lot of great strides over the season. Have to admit, I had my doubts going in, but select volleyball is worth it.
