Good luck with the refinancing. We just closed on ours this past Wednesday. Already had ours with Chase and they came to us looking to lower the rate / payment. It was a no-brainer for us. We plan to keep making the same payment and pay it off sooner that the 10 year we signed up for. Seems like the mortgage companies are pretty aggressive...and in a good way.

Definitely. We just refied ours a couple of months ago. Went from a 30 year (had 23 left) to a 15 year for the same payment.
