We attacked unpacking in a guest bedroom and our home office today. Ugh!!! Still boxes in places that they shouldn't be but we will get them all. I hope the next time I move it is the last time.

Landed in Singapore at dinner time yesterday. This place is beautiful, and 1 degree north of the equator not as hot/ humid as I expected. I walked to Chinatown last night to get dinner, I chickened-out on the places serving bullfrog soup and such. I'm not Episcopalian but there is the large, old church St. Andrews church across from the hotel so I attended the 9am service, and met a nice gent at the coffee/ cake afterwards and learned the history of Singapore from the Napoleonic Wars to the present. 1 pm Sunday afternoon, work is done on the computer, checked-in to TBH for my daily-dose and now I'm off walking to do more exploring. I found a Hoyt archery dealer somewhere in the area, but looking at their picture I think I'll do something else this afternoon.



I can't wait to get home Tuesday. There's a date with the blacktail 4x4 where I hunt for this coming weekend!

Good call on the church. My brother-in-law reminds me frequently that when you have four Episcopalians together, you are likely to find a fifth!

God is God, all I need is a place to be quiet and speak with Him. He just speaks very softly.

I walked around the city again, enjoying the landscape and the 'scenery' all Sunday afternoon. Consumer electronics (HDTVS for example) are much more expensive in Singapore than the US, and the only place selling Swarovski optik were more expensive than Cabelas pricing.

Interesting society- minimal drug problems- convicted drug smugglers are hung here.

It's was fun to go out west for a few days but it's good to be back home. Kicked back in the big chair waiting on a visit with my grandson.
